Presentation abstract

INNOVATIONS FOR FUTURE MEMORY TECHNOLOGIES

Today the largest internet service providers are deploying 100Gb/s ethernet in their data centers, enabled by integrated photonics transceivers. The future data centers will scale data links up to 400Gb/s and beyond with stringent cost and power consumption specifications. In this presentation we will discuss imec’s recent progress to meet these requirements with its 50Gb/s silicon photonics platform.
